I've got 25 events from April to October along with 10-15 events at my temp home club, can't wait to see how it goes. no more one track pony :-)

2 questions;

1.  Does PMG give you an official handicap ?

2. And is an official handicap required to play in the events you are planning ?

Copsewood Grange,

Last year I played at The Nottinghamshire and the Worcestershire, and twice in comps at Melton Mowbray

I'd be happy to play the Nottinghamshire again and at £21 each with food it's a steal

Goo read :-)

I think for me its the right choice, free's up options to play other courses and maintain my handicap and get a freshness playing other tracks, I get so bored not playing comps after all your game needs to be tested (well mine does) as I can play great without the card pressure !!

Real test if you can get cut playing away all the time :-)

Well I signed up TO PMG for 2017 £341 inc union fee's my new club is Ullesthorpe I've got 110 points £2.95 per point, comp day early Sunday is 8pts, afternoon 6pts etc If I played today it would be 4 points £11.80

Works for me I#d rather practice and then play comps over social hacking :-)

£21 for the nottinghamshire seems a good deal ?

I've played Ullesthorpe a few times, I'm sure you'll have fun,

I'll check my diary over the weekend, if I'm free on May 7th would you like to book the Nottinghamshire, only one spot remaining so no guarantee of a good tee time

OK, I have emailed the Nottinghamshire requesting the available tee time, as soon as I hear I'll post here and we will have one week to confirm and pay for the slot. I'm happy to pay up front and we could square up on the day.

Think my games improving not playing but practicing more on specific things :-)

Over making my membership value by playing 3 times or more and getting bored

Just wondered if you've set a goal for 2017? personally, I'm not sure I want to set one, as add's more pressure to a fragile game :-( #Mindwellness
started the year at 8.3 and 2 comps later I'm 8.5 and as like last year, there's not a lot going wrong other than the standard bad 2 holes a round. Like Sunday 2 7s on par four both with an OB penalty +6 for 2 holes is hard to come back from however your playing.
So goals, good to set one up or stay chilled and see how it goes?

Kinda like the pmg system already, even tho it's a faff using the 20 away points. It's actually worked out well with a new destination Ramsdale park 10pts for me and my pal £20 each (based on rebuy being £4 a point)
34 courses on offer and direct tee booking via playmoregolf website #Simples
Just need the sun booking option
11.04am if anyone fancies joining up - cheeky Friday away day

Hi all anyone using the PlaymoreGolf flexible option ??
I'm at a great club but having missed out on the winter league and if the weather is anything like last year and the course is shut for 2 months my 1050 membership is pretty much wasted through the winter months
I'd like to get back to something from March to Oct and mainly comps over social golf and I don't want another 10 or 6 year break and need to keep my current handicap active and progressive. It looks a good deal if you have the same benefits OK it might be more (eg points) to play at weekends which I understand !!
      any thoughts ??
