How far should golf adapt?

Recommended Posts

What are your thoughts on what we should do to grow the game ?

Obvioulsy we have had the recent update to the golf handicap system to allow maximum handicaps of 54 throughout.   Plus I've also read something recently about clubs allotting some Saturday morning competition tee times to golfers aged 30-50 (I'm massively generalising here), who have families, to allow them to get out, in and back home - not sure this is being done but just something suggested.

So how far should golf go to adapt to modern day society ?

Also ignoring equality, this should be a given !  this was mind boggling if anyone saw it:

Amazing..  Knuckle Draggers...

People then wonder why golf is perceived to have an "old school" secret handshake type underbelly...

Yes, I get incensed about this old school garbage, all these narrow minded committee members need to be encouraged to open their minds or move on...
