If you are going outwith the Summer Months i would suggest Sicily, the climate is significantly better than the rest of the country

Hi, if well if you have never been to Italy previously?  ROME is a city that you need to visit, there are golf courses but i would mention Golf in Italy is not often cheap so you should have a healthy budget!

I play at donnafugatagolfresort sometimes but it is 150 euro for a round (Italian Open was there two weeks ago) so not exactly budget golf

Realistically unless you are 100% addicted to golf golf golf, a visit from the UK?  to Italy is going to be more than just golfing, my favourite place is Sicily, then Rome, which is why i live in Sicily and visit Rome often!

Italy is not a Spain, Portugal or Turkey when it comes to golf, even the 9 holer here costs plenty, but the views are amazing!  VIEW OF 9 HOLE COURSE

Where are you from?

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm from France and I have never been in Italy for playing golf but I visit Florence, Rome. I take a look to this website http://www.italygolfandmore.com/ and there are many interesting golf courses and not all too expensive.

If I want to go this autumn you have many suggestions? And for food?

Thanks a lot!

I entered a competition on Liam Harrisons You Tube Channel ( GolfvLogsUK ) and my name got pulled out of the hat, never played outside the county, never mind another country..
Any advice would be appreciated, not sure on how to get my clubs out there, or how the hell do I get them on the plane, no idea what I might forget lol...

My friends and I are lovely friendly people, We are looking for a 6th team mate, as one of our friends has pulled out.
Most things are booked so you'd only have to worry about flights, Below is our plan!
Friday 1st April arrive in Dublin, drive over to Galway, dump off luggage, then either go Go Karting or play a pretty 9 hole course to warm up on that is wonderfully cheap, (Connemara Isle Golf) We would like to go out friday night, (Socially) few beers and live music.
Saturday, leave Galway drive an hour to Connemara Championship Links Golf Course for a 1 pm tee off time, then drive up to Westport (Voted Most Pretty Town in Ireland) Again, have a few beers and watch some live music.
Sunday, leave Westport drive an hour or so up to Enniscrone Golf, for a 3 pm tee off. Sunsets around 8, finish golf and drive 40mins to Sligo, Have a nice dinner and Chill
Monday 4th, Leave Sligo and head back to Dublin, Depending on previous activities, we could Go Kart around this time if not Friday evening. Anyway; 20mins from the airport there's a beautiful links course called Corballis, We'll tee off around 1.30 there and then catch our flight back to London at about 8.30.

If this appeals to you, do not hesitate to get in touch. Any other questions, again, Do not hesitate to get in touch, if its easier you can text or call on 07520258881
We are around the ages of 23 - 27 All males, and handicaps range from 12 - 30, We're really easy going people so don't be put off, we'd love you to come!
