Spain or Portugal on a budget with fkights

Recommended Posts

I'm doing the research for one of our lads who usually organises a great golf break each year for us around the UK.

Next year he fancies a trip further afield with Spain or Portugal options.

We have heard many claims of really cheap winter golf (October 2017 ideally) but as we look at options online they all come out quite expensive.

3 questions:

Any recommendations on travel companies that cover accommodation, golf and flights

What is the average cost for 4 nights, 2 or 3 rounds of golf

Any difficulties in organising this type of break that wouldn't normally be a problem with a UK break.

Hi Rich

I believe the best way to do this type of trip is to book the flights as early as possible first and foremost. If you book now you may even be looking as cheap as £25 each way.

Then pick a venue and get in touch with them directly, or go through someone like Golfbreaks.

We went to Portugal last year and played some Oceanico courses which are all fairly close by. Here are some links.

This was a great venue as out of town a bit so slightly cheaper and 2 courses on site.

Then you also have Victoria, Old Course and others which are all linked in the above too.

Hope it helps
